BBG Management Corporation has an opportunity for a Marine Engineer / Technician in Ottawa, ON.
An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a marine or naval environment, this position will involve analysis and documentation of the maintenance procedures associated with mechanical or electrical systems aboard a ship or vessel. This is an in-office position.
Note: You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of technical publications and training programs
- Assist in the conduct of reliability prediction, failure mode effects, and criticality analysis
- Assist with development of labor hour per cost estimates
- Assist with reliability centered maintenance analysis
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a marine, naval or shipbuilding environment
- Knowledge of vessel systems (electrical and/or mechanical)
- Knowledge of the maintenance procedures associated with the electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Excellent analysis and documentation skills
- Experience with computer techniques and models for analysis
- Experience with application of PSA on equipment/systems and ILS(Integrated Logistic Support)
- Canadian Navy / Coast Guard experience is an asset
- Eligible to meet requirements for Canadian security clearance
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
